So, there was a recent Windows 10 update. For some reason I was passing by the updates and noticed one sitting there for Windows, and clicked on it. I don't know why. Seemed fine except my display was all washed out.
I kept having to go into the NVIDIA Control Panel and nudge the digital vibrance settings to get the display look the way I saved it before each reboot.
I tried so many different offered solutions to no avail. Finally I found it. Shout outs to some guy named SeedyOne over on a Reddit thread here https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/37iorv/digital_vibrance_resets/
I had to go to the NVIDIA Control Panel once again. This time to Display>Change Resolution>Step 3, and check the box for "Use NVIDIA Color Settings" and set Output Dynamic Range to all. Make sure the Output Color Format is RGB, if not already.
